As of May 1st 2004, Cyprus  joined the European Union and as of January 1st 2008 the Euro area/The legal spectrum has been tremendously affected since the legislation of the EU was followed.

In particular the areas of competition law and commercial law tremendously affect the business environment.

In the light of the forthcoming changes Evros I. Evripidou Advocates & Legal Consultants haven established a European Law department in order to provide its clients with up to date advice that would comply with the laws and procedures of Cyprus and Europe.
